Thanks again to all our Ballyea volunteers who installed the Croke Park farmed Hybrid turf in our two goalmouths over the last couple of days. Great work done by all. Thanks to Flan Quinn also for loaning us his Massey Ferguson for the job. The pitch must now remain closed for the foreseeable future to ensure its full recovery over the next few weeks & months.
The new Astro Turf area will be installed by McSweeneys at the ball wall in early November. The walk way around the pitch is also scheduled to be resurfaced in November.
