CLARE FM will be staging another Ballyea Up For The Final live special this Wednesday evening in the West County Hotel – and every member of the club and the public is invited along to hear some of the biggest names in Clare GAA give their views on Friday’s All Ireland final.

Although the show doesn’t go on the air until 8pm, patrons are advised to arrive early to ensure the best seating. Doors will be open from 7.30.

Derrick Lynch, Syl O’Connor and the rest of the Clare FM team successfully staged a similar programme in The Local Inn on the eve of Ballyea’s Munster club final win over Glen Rovers, and this Wednesday’s show will likewise feature big names as well as music, competitions and other forms of entertainment.

Among the guests will be Clare joint manager Gerry O’Connor, Brendan Bugler and the Doora-Barefield triumvirate of Seanie McMahon, Jamesie O’Connor and Christy O’Connor who 18 years ago lifted the same trophy that Stan Lineen and the rest of the Ballyea will be trying to get their hands on this St Patrick’s Day. Members and former players of our club will also be giving their views on what is a fixture that has captured the imagination of the whole county.

Among the prizes on the night will be two complementary tickets to Friday’s All Ireland final double bill in Croker.
